Tuesday's lesson - 16/01/2018

In today's lesson, I have worked on the front cover of the CD package. I inserted gutters to make sure the text didn't go outside the 1 cm from the sides of the cover. I tried writing the artist's name and the title of the album in different ways but in the end, I inserted the letters one by one, tilting some to the left and some to the right, putting them next to each other unlevelled. I grouped grouping them so it is easier to move the words around. This is what I ended up with and I quite like it as it relates to a close up shot in the music video of the name of the song.

To add gutters, I went on View, New Guide and added 1 cm guides all around the cover.

CD and Advert Pitch

We have done our pitch presentations on the 11th December and got some feedback and recommendations from our class that we might find quite useful during the creation of the print products.

- fonts represent genre and style of music video
- the third one and last one would look good as it is simple and not too childish
- don't use pink light, stick with ordinary lights and add in any other effects after
- white backdrop would be good
